Year Six Assessment Week
As many of you will know, last week, the year six children sat assessments for maths, reading and spelling, punctuation and grammar. We couldn't be prouder of how the children worked, in both the weeks before hand and over the four days of tests. The chldren really did work their socks off!
However, it's not just year six who did all of the hard work. Oh no...we must also say a huge thank you to the rest of the children in the school. They tip-toed around the school like little mice to ensure they didn't disturb anyone, they were encouraging and wishing the year sixes luck when they passed them in the corridors and they gave them huge cheers when they had finished. As a staff we are constantly blown away by the wonderful, caring and kind children we have here at Woodcocks' Well.
