Wild Weather!

This was our first lesson about our new Science topic… ‘Wild Weather’. First, we identified different weather conditions such as sunny, cloudy, rainy and snowy and acted out how these make us feel when we go outside. Then, we talked about how we should dress during these different types of conditions so that we are not too hot or cold. To show our understanding, we worked in groups to dress a bear for different weather conditions. We made sure that we gave him a coat to keep him warm if it was raining or snowing. We also made sure that his feet were covered with some boots to keep them away from the wet and cold ground. After giving our bears some new outfits, we had to explain to the other children how our bears were dressed appropriately for the weather condition. We had lots of fun learning about some wild weather conditions!
