British Science Week
Date: 16th Mar 2018 @ 12:14pm
This week Woodcocks Well has been celebrating British science week. It all started on Tuesday, when Miss Nutty told us all about science week, and told us what we were going to be doing. She also did some amazing experiments, first was with a balloon, the air pressure inside the balloon meant that it stayed inflated. Second another experiment with balloons, this time she held it above a flame, IT DIDN'T BURST !!!
Throughout the week all of the children have been learning about science. Acorns learnt about plants and lady bird, olive learnt about how ice melts, willow learnt about forces, maple learnt about surface tension and oak learnt about heart rates. It has been a very exciting week indeed.
It all culminated today with a big sharing workshop. The children all joined a different classroom and shared what they had learnt with all the other children.
It really has been a super science week.
Next year lets make it even bigger and better.
