Cultural Diversity Day

A few weeks ago, our year 6 children were invited by Congleton High School to attend their annual Cultural Diversity Day. Our children look forward to this every September, and by the sounds of things this year didn't disappoint. The children took part in lots of different workshops throughout the day, including: African drumming, Bollywood dancing, wheelchair basketball and beading.

Here's just a few things our children had to say about their day;

'It was great becase it was a lot different to what we do at school' Jack

'The reason I liked it so much was becasue I learnt so much' Roman

'I did things i'd never done before, like wheelchair basketball' Lauren

'I thought it was good beacause it gave us a taste of high school' Thomas
