Victorian Day

Date: 24th Nov 2017 @ 1:07pm

We had a fantastic day for our Victorian dress up day!

When the children came into school, they were very surprised to see the teachers dressed up as Victorian class teachers. They also had to get used to the Victorian style of teaching very quickly! We did our times tables, handwriting and even reading from the bible.

In the afternoon, the children enjoyed an array of activities. We decorated biscuits in the style of William Morris, made Victorian fans, made paper flower descorations, used ink to write the alphabet and our names, played parlour games and decorated our initial letters with William Morris patterns.

We really enjoyed our day. Do you like our pictures?
