Rio de Janeiro Carnival

In Oak Class, we have recently been learning all about Rio de Janeiro carnival, which is a carnival held every year. This is the biggest carnival in the world, with over two million people attending every day! Wow!

The parade fills the streets of Rio with floats, music, dancers and amazing costumes! 

We were particularly impressed by many of the headresses worn by people taking part the festival and so decided to make our own based on the animals of South America. Take a look at our photos below and let us know what you think.
